SUMMARY:17.07.2024 – Colloquium Frauke Hildebrandt, Jan Lonnemann, Bianka Pergande
DESCRIPTION:Location: ZOOM\nTime: 6:00pm – 7:30pm\nFrauke Hildebrandt (Research and practice development in childhood education, University of Applied Sciences Potsdam)\nJan Lonnemann (Empirical childhood research, University of Potsdam)\nBianka Pergande (Managing Director, Deutsche Liga für das Kind e.V., Berlin)\nDraft of the extended principles of elementary education in Brandenburg: „Erweiterte Grundsätze elementarer Bildung in Brandenburg“\nWe have revised the „Principles of Elementary Education“, the Brandenburg education plan for daycare centres. The result is now available: The „Extended Principles of Elementary Education“ describe guidelines for child rights-based, inclusive, participatory and sensitive pedagogical action in the most important everyday situations in child daycare centres.\nThey provide suggestions, impulses for action and examples of how these everyday situations can be pedagogically organised and systematically linked to topics from different areas of education. They also outline which actions in everyday pedagogical life are to be regarded as educationally inhibiting and contradictory to children’s rights. In addition, the extended principles of elementary education show for each educational area which pedagogical actions are suitable for supporting children in their skills development, identify skills that children can develop in the centre and contain recommendations for the material and spatial design of a participatory educational environment. We will present the revised version together in the lecture.\nPlease request the zoom link from: pina(at)fh-potsdam.de\n
